How DynaPRIME Works

  1. Login, ADMIN & License Key
  2. Setup FTP
  3. Create Feed / HTML
  4. Save Feed / HTML
  5. Modifications

LOGIN, ADMIN & License Key

When you purchase DynaPRIME you are issued a login and password. The Login is your contact email, and a personal password. You can modify this by logging into your ADMIN panel.

You will be also issued a separate login and password for your ADMIN. In the ADMIN, you can delete users and feeds. By default, DynaPRIME is set to one user.

Lastly, to ensure security, you will be issued your personal License Key that will unlock DynaPRIME from demo mode. This key is "site sensitive" and will work ONLY on the domain with which DynaPRIME is registered.

SETUP FTP ACCOUNT

One you login, you must first setup an FTP account.

Click Setup FTP Accounts under FTP Accounts in the right navigation.

The path to the FTP folder is not always just the folder name. I some cases you may be required to put "www" or "public_html" - the path to your root files.

NOTE: if setting up an FTP for a subdomain, the FTP folder is usually blank.

Once you have an FTP account setup, you can start adding and saving feeds.

CREATE FEEDS / HTML PAGES

To start creating new content for your site, click the Create RSS to HTML under Create Files in the right navigation. You can insert the direct path to an RSS feed or browse for a feed on your hard drive.

Choose the template style* that you prefer and click the "Create Page" button.

*Note: You can modify templates to fit the design of your site for a seamless integration. By modifying the template style you like, you can have unlimited designs that will update EVERY WEBSITE YOU OWN with new and fresh content.

When a feed is created, you will be able to view what the html page will look like and the source code of the created page. Once you have created a feed, you will have two options. You can simply copy and paste the code onto a page for manual upload to your server or you can save the feed for Automatic updates.

To save the feed, click the red "Save Feed" button.

Note: You can modify your feeds at any time utilizing the Saved Feeds / HTML List under Save Feeds.

ERROR: You will receive an error [listed below] if the FTP is not set correctly. Although the feed itself is saved - you will need to "back out" of this page and double check your FTP settings. Then continue to your "Saved Feed", find the file you want, and resave it.

Warning : ftp_login(): Authentication failed, sorry in /home/dynaprim/public_html/DynaPrimeX/inc/application.php on line 273

We are currently working on this problem and should have a fix during the next update.

ADDING SAVED FEEDS / HTML PAGES

When saving your feed, choose a name that is recognizeable when viewing your saved feed list. The URL to the feed automatically fills in from "Create RSS to HTML" page. The only required fields here are the Saved Name, URL of Feed and FTP Account.

You now are presented with several options.

  • Title of the feed
  • META Keywords
  • Description of the feed
  • Language
  • Title of image
  • URL of image
  • Image Link
  • Image Width
  • Image Height
  • Feed update period, hours
  • Feed names - xml, html
  • Template style
  • Enable?

The first options are META tags. You can add these features to most RSS feeds.

Choose a Title, Keywords and Description Tag that best describes the feed. Remember to use keyterms properly in both the Title and Descripion for the best Search Engine indexing.

Note: For more on Search Engine Optimization, download, or read online, our complementary SEO Basics e-book.

IMAGE:

With some RSS feeds, you can replace the image with one of your own. This is especially nice if utilizing an affiliate feed such as AMAZON. To use this feature you will need to indicate the Title of the image, URL of the image, Link you wish for the Image, it's width and height.

Note: it may be wise to check with the originating website as to their restrictions on using their feeds. We recommend you leave their original logo if you are unsure.

TIMEFRAME & Page Names

The best art of this script is setting the Automated update feature. You can have DynaPRIME automatically refresh your xml and html pages on a time frame from 1 hour [default] up to 72 hours.

When naming the feed, keep the names short and descriptive. Keep in mind that you are wanting the SE spiders to view your pages a fresh content - so naming the page with optimizaed keyterms is a good idea.

Remember to include the .xml or .html to the name. If you put in just a name, then the file will be saved as an "unknown" or simple "txt" file.

Template Styles

DynaPRIME gives you four template styles to choose from. The choice you made in "Create RSS to HTML" is set in the field, but you can change it if you wish.

When you create new template styles, these will show in the drop down choice as well, so a seamless integration with your site is possible.

*Note: You can modify templates to fit the design of your site for a seamless integration. By modifying the template style you like, you can have unlimited designs that will update EVERY WEBSITE YOU OWN with new and fresh content.

Enable - You can choose to enable or not the new saved feed. This allows you to have feeds easily display on your site only when you wish. [default - enabled is on]

MODIFICATIONS

At any time you can modify your FTP accounts and Saved feed lists. When you change a template design, it will automatically be reflected in the next update to all saved feeds associated with that template design.
